NEW COMICS DAY Twitterama YOU Review Comics! 05/04

It's been a busy past few days for international news, and it's a suitably busy New Comic Book Day, with plenty of notable releases coming to shops. Looking for previews? Oh, we've got plenty, including exclusive looks at Blue Estate #2 from Image Comics, and Edge of Doom #5 from IDW, which can be found right here.

For J. Caleb Mozzocco's take on the week's new stuff, get yourself over to Blog@Newsarama and read his weekly column ‘Twas the Night Before Wednesday…, which this time around looks at everything from Marvel's Avengers Academy Giant-Size #1 one-shot, to Archaia's hardcover collection Cyclops Vol. 1.

The classic Daredevil (and Halo and Spider-Woman and Scarlet) team of Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev are back together once again for Moon Knight #1, starting a new ongoing series transplanting the Secret Avenger to Los Angeles. Also from Marvel: Matt Fraction and Stuart Immonen's sophomore issue of Fear Itself.

DC Comics is coming off of a rather notable week of press, and putting out the Jill Thompson-written and illustrated Vertigo graphic novel Delirium’s Party: A Little Endless Storybook (which Newsarama's Michael C. Lorah reviewed over here). Got $10? Consider 96 pages of reprints in the Green Lantern Super Spectacular #1.

Image has had good luck with launches recently, and this week is debuting Gladstone’s School For World Conquerors #1. Their Top Cow imprint keeps momentum going with Artifacts #7, plus Brian Clevinger and Scott Wegener show off their latest in Atomic Robo: The Deadly Art of Science #5.

The always-prepared Best Shots crew has reviews of those last three comics and more in their latest advance review column, but this space is for you guys. We want to hear from you! So buy some comics, choose your opinions wisely, then get on Twitter (Don't forget to follow us!), and let the world know your 140-character-or-less thoughts on this week's releases.
