NEW COMICS DAY Twitterama YOU Review Comics! 02/16

As your Valentine's Day flowers start to wilt, take comfort in the evergreen pleasures of New Comic Book Day! You want previews of this week's releases? Oh, we've got them right here, including an exclusive glimpse at Legion of Super Heroes #10 from DC Comics and an extended look at Dynamite's Jennifer Blood #1.

What's on the mind of J. Caleb Mozzocco this week? Why, head over to Blog@Newsarama and find out, courtesy of his weekly ‘Twas the Night Before Wednesday… column. This week he's looking at the Captain Wonder 3D special, plus Marvel's Marvel Girl one-shot (among lots of other stuff, natch).

DC's latest animated television series is Young Justice. It airs on the Cartoon Network, and a comic book tie-in was an inevitability: and hey, here it is, Young Justice #1. Also from the publisher: Green Lantern #62, the first new issue of that title since late December, and the arrival of superheroes in Fables #102 (interview here).

Marvel's Point One campaign to attract new and lapsed readers continues with Amazing Spider-Man #654.1, promising to reveal a whole lot more about the new Venom. A new, Deathlok-centric, story arc starts with Uncanny X-Force #5.1, and Clint Barton's vision begins to blur in Hawkeye: Blindspot #1.

Garth Ennis has a new series starting this week — the aforementioned Jennifer Blood. IDW has a new issue of their Dungeons & Dragons comic (#4), and Ardden's Flash Gordon: Invasion of the Red Sword #1 is also debuting.

The Best Shots team has advance reviews of those last three comics here, but, of course, we want you to speak your voice! So get out there, buy the heck out of some comics, get on Twitter (Don't forget to follow us!), and let the world know your 140-character-or-less thoughts on this week's releases.
