NEW COMICS DAY Twitterama - YOU Review!

In a week of troubling headlines, take comfort in the escapism provided by New Comic Book Day. For previews of this week's comics, including exclusive looks at Booster Gold #40 and Knight and Squire #4, both from DC Comics, head over here.

For one of the best weekly rundowns of new comics in all of this wide world of the Internet, J. Caleb Mozzocco has stuck again with ‘Twas the Night Before Wednesday… over at Blog@Newsarama, paying tribute to Thor: The Mighty Avenger #8, the last issue of the critically acclaimed series.

Arguably the biggest release of the week — on a number of levels — is Spawn #200 from Image Comics, only the second independent comic in history to reach that mark. Not only is Todd McFarlane returning to art duties with the issues, there's involvement from Jim Lee, Robert Kirkman, Rob Liefeld and more.

Over at Marvel, Matt Murdock begins to pick up the Shadowland pieces in Daredevil: Reborn #1. In an issue getting a good deal of publicity today, I Am An Avenger #5 features a Captain America story designed to promote suicide prevention; plus Mark Waid's promoting Captain America: Man Out of Time #3 as an issue he's especially proud of.

It's a big week for Gail Simone at DC Comics, with Birds of Prey #8 and Secret Six #29 both out; plus Cassie Sandsmark takes center stage with a new Wonder Girl one-shot, from the creative team of Teen Titans writer JT Krul and artist Adriana Melo.

A couple of big creator-owned series are out today — Nick Spencer's latest from Image Comics, Infinite Vacation #1, debuts today, and Greg Pak's Vision Machine #3. In a couple of sophomore releases, IDW has Transformers Prime #2, and BOOM! Studios is putting out Starborn #2.

The Best Shots team has advance reviews of those last four comics here, but, you know what we want: to hear from you! So buy some comics, read them closely, get on Twitter (Don't forget to follow us!), and let the world know your 140-character-or-less thoughts on this week's releases. Just add the hashtag:
