NEW COMICS DAY Twitterama - YOU Review!

There's only 10 shopping days left 'til Christmas, but your weekly comic book holiday is here already: New Comic Book Day. For lots o' previews of this week's comics, including an exclusive look at IDW's The Suicide Forest #1, just click right here.

As always, the weekly treat of J. Caleb Mozzocco's ‘Twas the Night Before Wednesday… is over at Blog@Newsarama, with commentary on new releases including the one-shots Green Lantern/Plastic Man: Weapons of Mass Deception and What If? Spider-Man.

Speaking of Spider-Man, he's getting a new, black, glow-y costume in Amazing Spider-Man #650 to deal with the threat posed by the Hobgoblin. Marvel's also got the latest installment of their godly crossover with Chaos War #4, and Giant-Man returns in Avengers Academy #7.

As for DC? Sterling Gate and Jamal Igle's run on Supergirl comes to a close with the holiday-themed issue #59. Also out this week: Batman and Robin #18, the middle issue of writer Paul Cornell's three-part stint, and Mike Carey's Vertigo latest, Unwritten #20.

IDW revives John Byrne's Next Men with a new #1, along with a new Steve Niles-written title, Doc Macabre #1. Plus, Archaia releases a new installment of their popular series with Mouse Guard: Black Axe #1, and Dynamite has Phil Hester taking over writing duties with Green Hornet #11.

The Best Shots team has advance reviews of the latter three books here, but as it happens every week, we want to hear from you. Here's what you do: purchase some comic books, read said comic books, hop on Twitter (Don't forget to follow us!), and let the world know your 140-character-or-less thoughts on this week's releases.
