NEW COMICS DAY Twitterama - YOU Review Comics! 08/04

It's New Comic Book Day! We've had our usual large group of previews over the course of the last week, which you can find by clicking right here.

You can start yourself off on the regular by visiting Caleb's Twas the Night Before Wednesday column on Blog@ for a thorough breakdown of major releases this week.

Elseworlds is back! With Superman: The Last Family of Krypton, DC brings back Elseworlds, their alternate-reality brand of titles, and has Cary Bates along for the ride. Across the proverbial street, Marvel's mega-release of the week is most certainly Amazing Spider-Man #639, which continues to fill in the blanks on the continuity shuffling in the wake of One More Day.

In the mysterious realm of the Indies, Baltimore: The Plague Ships launches today, moving from those strange books without pictures called "novels" and into the more familiar and comfortable world of comics thanks to Mike Mignola, Christopher Golden, and Ben Steinbeck. Image launches two new ominous sounding series with Murderland and Nancy in Hell.

Now, we want you to get into the action. So, when you get your haul this week, hop on Twitter (Don't forget to follow us!), and tell the world what you think of this week's reads. Just add the hashtag:

and it'll go into our stream right here! So share your thoughts, spread the word, and let's talk comics!
