OFFICIAL: Capcom & Marvel Team-Up Again
It's time to take you for a ride, but in a whole new way. Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds has been officially announced for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles, bringing together a clashing of characters for the 5th time.Capcom will release the game, a sequel to the decade-oldMarvel vs. Capcom 2 in Spring 2011. The line-up will be revealed over the course of the next year, but Capcom mainstays Ryu, Morrigan, and Chris Redfield and Marvel popularity mavens Wolverine, Iron Man, and Hulk have been shown in the initial trailer. In a press release, Capcom expressed their excitement for the oft-requested game. “We are so pleased to be working with Marvel again. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 has been one of the most requested titles for us to produce by our fans,” said Christian Svensson, Corporate Officer and Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development at Capcom. “Our Capcom development studio is creating the most epic fighting game ever developed and Marvel’s input into that process has been invaluable.” More soon on the game, and the teaser trailer can be seen below.
