Jeremy Atkins has announced that he is leaving his position as Head of Corporate Communications for Polarity, the parent company of Oni Press, Lion Forge, and Magnetic Press.
"Tomorrow marks my last official day at Lion Forge/Oni Press, as I move on to the next adventure in this wacky little industry I have been privileged to be a part of for the last 16+ years," Atkins wrote on Facebook. "I am extremely proud of the work that I did in my time from freelancer to employee carrying out the vision of David Steward II, and have been honored to extend that to taking a small part in the nearly 25 year history of the company Joe Nozemack co-founded, and continues with James Lucas Jones and Charlie Chu.
"There are too many people past and present to call out here, but it has been a pleasure and a privilege working with each and every one of you," Atkins continued. "News of what I’m up to next coming very soon."
Atkins joined the company in late 2017 as Senior P.R. Executive for Lion Forge, and with the acquisiton of Oni Press and re-organization as Polarity, became the company's primary P.R. person. He is well-known for his 2004-2014 stint as Dark Horse Comics' Director of Public Relations.
Atkins will continue his own freelance P.R. firm Seen All Over Media, whose client list has included Dynamite Entertainment, Heavy Metal Magazine, Insight Editions, Black Mask Studios, and 12 Gauge Comics.
