The current season of AMC's The Walking Dead will have a truncated end, with the planned season finale now postponed until later in the year as a special.
"Current events have unfortunately made it impossible to complete post-production of The Walking Dead Season 10 finale, so the current season will end with its 15th episode on April 5," read an AMC statement shared with Variety. "The planned finale will appear as a special episode later in the year."
April 5's "The Tower" will end the season, with the aborted finale, "A Certain Doom," now unscheduled.
This comes a week after The Walking Dead's planned sister series, World Beyond, was postponed indefinitely before its planned April 12 debut.
An eleventh season of The Walking Dead has been greenlit, to co-star the returning Laurie Cohan.
