CW's Flash has suspended production due to concerns surrounding the ongoing global outbreak of COVID-19 (commonly called Coronavirus), Deadline reports.

The Flash is the second CW show filming in Vancouver to suspend production, following Riverdale also ceasing filming over Coronavirus concerns.

According to Deadline, The Flash unit manager Brent Crowell told the cast and crew production would be shut down "until further notice".

The Flash was in production on its currently airing sixth season. The next episode is scheduled to air March 31, with a planned hiatus of unspecified length to follow.
