Elliot Fletcher has been cast as Sam Jordan, a male friend of Ben Schnetzer's lead character Yorick Brown in FX's Y: The Last Man, according to Deadline.
"Fletcher will play Sam Jordan, Hero Brown’s (Schnetzer) best friend, and enabler," Deadline reports, assumedly accidentally referring to Ben Schnetzer's Yorick Brown character as Hero (his sister's name). "His background (he grew up in poverty with absent parents), has made him resourceful and resilient in a world where surviving men are greeted with suspicion or worse. Street smart but occasionally self-destructive, he is wry and funny, with a big heart."
Fletcher played Max on Hulu's Runaways, and as Jake Barlow on Tell Me Your Secrets. The 23-year-old actor came out in 2013 as a trans man, but Deadline is unclear if his purported Y: The Last Man character shares that with the actor.
FX has not specified when Y: The Last Man will debut.
