Marvel Cinematic Universe stalwart Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson/Falcon) is cautioning fans not to expect an Marvel Cinematic Universe film cut up into six-to-eight parts when The Falcon and the Winter Soldier debuts on Disney+ in August.
"They're going to feel different in and of themselves, because they're shot in a completely different way than the movies," Mackie told the Hollywood Reporter for their Heat Vision newsletter. "I think people are going to be surprised by how in-depth and evolved the characters become by having six to eight hours to them, instead of just two hours."
The actor added fans of Sam Wilson will really see his character expand after six supporting roles.
"When you're on a team, you play your role. But with this, you really get to see who the characters are in their lives between the movies," Mackie says.
