In a new clip from Warner Bros Animation's Superman: Red Son, the Man of Steel arrives in Metropolis - but he's not their Man of Steel.
Take a look:
"... Superman: Red Son takes place in an alternate reality where the spaceship bearing the last survivor of Krypton crash lands – not in rural Kansas, but in Stalinist Russia," reads WB's description. Can this Cold War-era Earth survive the coming of a Soviet Superman?"
This standalone film's cast is comprised of Jason Isaacs (Superman), Lex Luthor (Diedrich Bader), Amy Acker (Lois Lane), Vanessa Marshall (Wonder Woman), Phil Morris (James Olsen), Paul Williams (Brainiac), Roger Craig Smith (Batman), Sasha Roiz (Hal Jordan), Phil LaMarr (John Stewart), Jim Meskimen (John F. Kennedy), William Salyers (Joseph Stalin), and Travis Willingham (Superior Man).
Superman: Red Son is based on the 2003 limited series by Mark Millar, Dave Johnson, Andrew Robinson, Walden Wong, and Killian Plunkett.
The animated Superman: Red Son is out now on digital platforms, with a home video release scheduled for March 17.
