125 years after his debut, the Yellow Kid is returning in 2020 for his first original comic book.

Writer/publisher Chris Yambar and artist Randy Bish have created the now-public domain character's first non-reprint comic book, Hully Gee, It's The Yellow Kid ('Hully Gee!" is one of the character's catchphrases).

The Yellow Kid (real name, Mickey Dugan) originally debuted in back in 1894 as part of R.F. Outcault's Hogan's Alley comic strip, and quickly became a pop culture icon - even becoming a mascot for various products such as children's toys, chewing gum, cigars, and whisky.

Yambar and Bish have created a 32-page story to lead the one-shot, to be followed by 8 pages of class Yellow Kid-centric Hogan's Alley strips.

Moordam Comics have set a 4,000-copy print run for this one-shot, split between two covers, with copies available only by mail-order or at various planned appearances.

For a copy, send $10 per copy plus $5 postage to: Chris Yambar, 2547 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown, Ohio 44511. At this time, Yambar is only accepting cash, checks, or money orders.
