Owen Wilson has been cast in an undisclosed role for Disney+'s Loki, according to ComicBook. The report indicates the comedy actor has a "major" part in the show, but further details are not disclosed.
Wilson is best known for his roles in Cars, Wedding Crashers, and The Royal Tenenbaums, and this would be his first time in the burdgeoning superhero film genre. A little footnote in history, however, is that Wilson was rumored to be in consideration to play Cyclops in 2000's X-Men, but was beat out by James Marsden.
The show is currently in pre-production, aiming for an early 2021 debut.
