Another modern addition to DC Comics mythos, the Batman Who Laughs is armed with his sickle and knife along with sinister grin. There is a lot going on with this design but this figure manages to capture the character pretty well.

There’s enough difference in the type of gloss and matte for the layering fabrics to give it that real world look and feel, but be mindful, those points on his crown are serious business.

The sculpt is immaculate with all the detail, nothing feels cheap and still very flexible even with the limitations from the wardrobe. The points from the jacket in the back are also a hazard so be careful all around.

This figure feels like an old school McFarlane toy that could have easily been out of their Twisted Fairy Tales line from back in the day and fits well within that aesthetic so guy is right at home. He’s also packed with the last piece of the Build-A-Vehicle Batmobile.

One down note was the paint job. The red blended in a bit too much on the white face. Could be an anomaly or blended intentional, but would have preferred a less smeared look.

‘Rama Rating: 8 out of 10
