Advance Review: McFarlane Toys' SUPERMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES Action Figure

Much like the Batman: The Animated Seres figure, the Superman figure here has this sophisticated simplicity to it that makes it an ideal Superman figure.

Only packaged along with an additional pair of hands and a bent steel beam (to show how super he is) they took a lot from earlier designs and this seems streamlined. DC Collectibles released a two-pack with a The Animated Series Superman and Lois not too long ago and this looks even better than that one.

Maybe it’s the fact that they included his cleft.

The Animated Series' Superman here does not come with a flight stand however, so be prepared to keep him grounded unless you had one of your own that could support this country boy. Using this as a foundation, here’s hoping McFarlane gets to a The Animated Series' Bizarro.

Superman doesn’t need accessories or anything, but it would be nice if he didn’t have random construction equipment that he was destroying for some reason. Yeah, this line is aimed for younger fans, but even something for the Fortress of Solitude would have been cooler.
