J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot is "exclusively developing" Justice League Dark film and TV projects as part of its five-year overall deal with Warner Media, according to Deadline.

Bad Robot is reportedly booking meetings now with writers for specific projects under this umbrella. Characters possibly under that umbrella, based on the comic book series of the same name, include John Constantine, Madame Xanadu, Swamp Thing, Deadman, Shade the Changing Man, Zatanna, Phantom Stranger, and Detective Chimp.

Wonder Woman is the leader of the current JLD in comic books.

Justice League Dark was created in 2011 by Peter Milligan and Mikel Janin, and a live-action film went into development the year after with writer/director Guillermo Del Toro. Del Toro left the project in 2015, and a succession of directors including Doug Liman joined the project but ultimately left. In 2017, Warner Bros. Animation released an animed Justice League Dark film, with a second planned for release later this year.
