Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker actor Oscar Isaac has signed on to produce and star in Legendary Entertainment's The Great Machine, an adaptation of Brian K. Vaughan and Tony Harris' Ex Machina, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
It's a good thing the film has a different name, or Oscar Isaac's IMDb page might get pretty confusing - he starred in the 2014 Oscar winner Ex Machina (yes, there are a lot of coincidences in this sentence).
Isaac will reportedly portray Mitchell Hundred - A.K.A. the Great Machine - a superhero who becomes mayor of New York City.
The Great Machine will be written by screenwriters Anna Waterhouse and Joe Shrapnel. No projected release date has been announced.
