Warner Bros.'s Joker went two for four in Sunday's Golden Globes Awards. The film's star, Joaquin Phoenix, won "Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama," and composer Hildur Guðnadóttir won for "Best Original Score - Motion Picture."
The film lost, however in "Best Motion Picture - Drama" to Sam Mendes' 1917. Mendes also won "Best Director - Motion Picture," an award Joker's director (and co-writer) Todd Philiips was also nominated for.
Awards season will continue with the nominees for the 92nd Academy Awards on January 13, followed by the awards presentation on February 9.
