Marvel has informed retailers of several additional creators for the upcoming Marvel Voices anthology - and others who are no longer involved.
As part of a message to retailers, the publisher stated the final line-up of interior pencillers will include Anthony Piper, Brandon Montclare, Brian Stelfreeze, Chuck Brown, David Walker, Evan Narcisse, Geoffrey Thorne, James Iglehart, Kyle Baker, Lenard McKelvey, Luciano Vecchio, Method Man, Roxane Gay, and Vita Ayala.
Several of those creators are known solely as writers - and previously solicited as writing Marvel Voices. We'd wager they're part of the book - just not as artists. But with that list there's three notable names added: Broadway star James Inglehart, radio host Lenard McKelvey (a.k.a. radio personality Charlamagne tha God), and comics writer Brandon Montclare.
If that list is the final list however, it omits the originally-solicited writer Ron Markham and artists Sanford Greene, Damion Scott, Ray Anthony-Height, Alitha Martinez, and Natacha Bustos.
We've reached out to Marvel for clarification.
Marvel Voices #1 is due out February 19.
