Wonder Woman 1984 writer/director Patty Jenkins has revealed that the upcoming film is completely done - six months ahead of the release.
"We’re done. The movie is done," Jenkins told Collider. "Because it doesn’t come out for a few months, for the first time in my career (which is so great) I was able to say, 'Hey guys, can you let me fiddle with this? Can you let me fiddle with that?' So I’m fiddling but the movie is technically done."
When asked about if the visual effeects are done as well, Jenkins confirmed "Oh yeah. 100% done."
"We can share it with the world," Gal Gadot, the film's star, chimed in. "It’s ready."
The film is set for release June 5, 2020, but this early completions lines up roughly with the film's originally announced release date of November 1, 2019. The release date was pushed back in June 2018 as filming began.
