Judge Dredd was born as a science fiction social commentary on the world, and a new limited series is driving back down that road with a story about immigration, protests, and human trafficking.

Scheduled to debut this March, Judge Dredd: False Witness by writer Brandon Easton and artist Kei Zama follows a courier who accidentally uncovers a far-reaching conspiracy that criss-crosses Mega-City One, Cursed Earth, and more.

"False Witness follows the tradition of Judge Dredd: America - widely considered to be one of the greatest Dredd tales in the history of the franchise that questions the nature of the Justice Department and the fine line between order and fascism," Easton said in a statement. "Longtime fans and newcomers will be able to jump into our story, especially with the gorgeous and intense artwork from Kei Zama taking us on this journey."

Here is the solicitation for the first issue - look for IDW's full March 2020 solicitations later this month.
