Tigra & Dazzler showrunner Erica Rivinoja and her entire writing staff have been fired by Marvel, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Rivinoja and her team had reportedly "completed multiple scripts and outlines for others" but ultimately differed creatively with Marvel over the show.

Marvel has reportedly "paused" production of the show while they look to hire a new showrunner and writing staff "as part of a larger creative overhaul."

Executive producer Chelsea Handler is still reportedly involved with the show, and has committed to voice one of the titular leads - although the Hollywood trade doesn't specify which.

Announced on February 11, Tigra & Dazzler is one of five adult-oriented animated series set-up at Hulu by Marvel Television prior to Marvel Studios' President Kevin Feige taking control of the division.

The other shows were Howard the Duck, M.O.D.O.K., Hit Monkey, and then a team-up show titled The Offenders - working in a similar way to Netflix's Marvel Television shows.

Earlier this year, Hulu's planned live-action Ghost Rider series was scrapped, and Marvel annnounced that the upcoming third season of Runaways would be its last.
