Disney+ has launched a little earlier than originally scheduled, with the streaming service going online sometime after midnight ET on Tuesday.
As announced Monday, a new 12-minute documentary, Marvel Studios: Expanding the Universe was available at launch. Mostly a review of all the previously announced MCU series - The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, and the animated What If...? - the program mostly showcases the on-stage reveals and interviews from this past summer's D23 expo, along with a few snippets of new interviews, and including some brand new concept art and fully animated scenes from What If...?
Check out screenshots of the animation in this gallery, including concept art of the series's narrator The Watcher voiced by Jeffrey Wright, and art from sequences featuring the WWII adventures of a super-soldier Peggy Carter and an armored Steve Rogers, a Marvel Zombie sequence that pits an undead Captain America versus the Winter Soldier and a take of Guardians of the Galaxy that seemingly features a black man taking the place of Peter Quill as Star-Lord ... perhaps T'Challa?
