DC have revealed the planned contents of November 27's Batman Giant #2. Formerly Walmart-exclusive titles, the Giant titles will now be available to comic stores directly.
The Signal (a.k.a. Duke Thomas) will be featured in an eight-page story, dealing with the effects of his childhood friend Danny Wong being stabbed by a member of the Xiqui gang. This story will be written by DC editor Andrea Shea, and drawn by Neil Edwards and Scott Hanna.
In a second story, Batman will go to Brazil to investigate a series of high-profile murders - with connections to Poison Ivy. This story is from writer Michael Gray and artists Ryan Benjamin and Richard Friend.
"Batman is hot on the trail of a series of murders in Brazil, where government officials and various captains of industry have been mysteriously murdered by their own bodyguards," reads DC's description. "As the Dark Knight starts assembling the pieces of the puzzle, he notices the thing all these victims have in common is a connection to the logging industry, a penchant for bribes...and Poison Ivy!"
In addition to these two new stories, the 96-page anthology will include reprints of "Trust Fall" from Batman #2, "Elegy Part One" from Detective Comics #854, and "Better Than Batman Part One" from Nightwing #1.
