Dark Horse Comics' Tommy Gun Wizards is changing its title just as the limited series passes the halfway point.
The publisher has informed Newsarama that the title of the series has been changed to Machine Gun Wizards. This change comes a day before the series' third issue hits stands, but the name-change won't take effect until November 20's #4, the series' finale - although the revised cover will board-up the name (as seen at right).
The publisher has not given a reason for this change.
"As things heat up between Eliot Ness’ Untouchables and Al Capone’s magical bootleg ring, everyone’s favorite gangster series gets a cool new name when Machine Gun Wizards returns for issue #4 in November," reads Dark Horse's description of the issue.
