Zoe Kravitz has been cast as Selina Kyle/Catwoman in Warner Bros.'s The Batman, according to The Wrap. The movie is expected to begin filming in January 2020.
Kravitz voiced Catwoman in the 2017 animated film The Lego Batman Movie, and has also had roles in several other comic book films including X-Men: First Class (as Tempest) and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (as Mary Jane Watson).
Kravitz's stepfather, Jason Momoa, plays Aquaman for Warner Bros.
Directed/co-written by Matt Reeves, The Batman will star Robert Pattinson in the title role. Jonah Hill and Jeffrey Wright are reportely in talks to play the Riddler and Commissioner Gordon, respectively.
The Batman is scheduled to open in theaters June 25, 2021.
