Marvel's just-released Deadpool teaser homages the old Coppertone advertisements, but replacing the baby with Elsa Bloodstone.
In this John Tyler Christopher illustration (homaging the late Joyce Ballantyne Brand's iconic ad), Elsa bikini bottom is being pulled down by Jeff the Land Shark - while Deadpool stands on the sidelines. The tagline, "Greetings from Monster Island!", refers to how in the new Deadpool series (launching this November), Deadpool will be hunting the King of Monsters, who has set up in Staten Island.
Here's the solicitation for the first issue, which is due out November 13.
