Marvel's long-running Star Wars title will end with November's #75, but the series' finale will be told in a seperate, over-sized one-shot one month later.

Announced on Lucasfilm's StarWars.com, December's Star Wars: Empire Ascendant #1 leads directly into Empire Strikes Back with Luke, Leia, and Han Solo leading the construction of the Echo Base on Hoth. According to Lucasfilm, the one-shot will also "address the fates of Doctor Aphra and Beilert Valance."

Series writer Greg Pak will co-write this one-shot with Charles Soule, Simon Spurrier, and Ethan Sacks. Artists Luke Ross, Roland Boschi, and unnamed others will illustrate the book.

Look for more on this and Marvel's other Star Wars titles coming out in December later today on Newsarama.
