Christopher Priest's long-running Deathstroke title is scheduled to end with December's #50. Revealed as part of DC's December 2019 solicitations, Deathstroke #50 is the last issue of what will be one of the longest-running DC titles with the same writer since August 2016's "Rebirth."

In recent issues of Deathstroke, Slade Wilson was seemingly killed and his daughter, Rose, takes up his costume. In this month's Deathstroke #47, an alternate-reality version of Slade surprisingly debuted in the series.

At the same time, someone - seemingly not Slade Wilson - appeared in the final page of this week's Event Leviathan dressed in a Deathstroke costume.
