Updated October 31, 2019: DC has informed retailers that Swamp Thing Giant #2 has reverted back to its originally-solicited November 27 release date.

Back in September, the publisher notified retailers that the book was being pushed back to a new December 18 release.

DC has given no reason for these schedule changes.

Here is the updated solicitation, released earlier this month:

Includes two new stories:
* "Everything Eats, Everything Dies," written by Mark Russell with art by Marco Santucci
Swamp Thing scours the bayou when an old friend goes missing, but all the while, an unexpected enemy is coming for Swamp Thing himself...
* "The Winter Quarters," written by Phil Hester with art by Tom Mandrake
To save a kidnapped boy, Swamp Thing must break in to a mysteriously abandoned circus yard. But the real trick will be getting out again...
Plus, these reprint tales:
* "A Walk Among the Tombstones," from SWAMP THING #2
* "The Poison Truth part two," from THE HELLBLAZER #2
* "Fuseli's Nightmare," from ZATANNA #2

Coming out as part of DC's non-Walmart-exclusive second wave of DC Giants, Swamp Thing Giant is scheduled to begin October 23 with an anthology of reprints and two new stories: "The Beet Goes On" by Mark Russell and Marco Santucci, and "Kind" by Andrew Constant and Tom Mandrake.
