Skybound and Spin Master's Super Dinosaur cartoon has been picked up by Amazon Prime Video for distribution. The cartoon, based on the Image Comics/Skybound title by Robert Kirkman and Jason Howard, debuted in 2018 on the Canadian TV network Teletoon but was not released in the United States and many other countries.

"Jason Howard and I created Super Dinosaur as something all kids would enjoy as much as our own kids do. In doing so we were able to craft a world as immersive and engaging as the world of The Walking Dead... but for kids!" Kirkman said in a statement. "Our partners at Spin Master have helped Skybound prepare this world for a mass-audience and I'm so happy this series has landed at Amazon where I know it will thrive."

The 13-episode first season of Super Dinosaur is scheduled to debut October 6 on Amazon Prime Video. Seperate broadcast deals were announced for international audiences, including ABC Australia, Television New Zealand TVNZ, Discovery Latin America, iQIYI, and NOGA-Communications Israel.

"These new sales agreements for China, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America and Israel highlight the global appetite for Spin Master’s action-packed content," said Spin Master's Senior Director of Sales and Distribution Thom Chapman. "We are confident that children all over the globe will find the characters and storylines of Super Dinosaur exciting and hilarious."

Coinciding with this international rollout, Skybound and Spinmaster plan to launch a Super Dinosaur toyline on Amazon in the United States, and in Canada as a Toys 'R Us exclusive.
