Filmmaker J.J. Abrams has struck a new partnership between his production company Bad Robot and WarnerMedia to bring his slate of original TV and film projects under one studio, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Under the new deal, which reportedly amounts to an approximate $250 million baseline payout for Bad Robot, is described as "exclusive" and runs through 2024. Despite this exclusive contract, Abrams will finish out his prior projects with Disney/Lucasfilm and Paramount.
No new projects were announced as part of the deal, however it will also extend to video games and digital content.
