Berlanti Productions and SerialBox will team up to create a series of audio dramas based on several of CW's Berlanti-produced DC TV shows, as reported by The Wrap.
The three shows to be adapted to audio are Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl. The Arrow adaptation will launch the line, which will begin this fall in the midst of Arrow's final TV season.
Berlanti Productions is guiding the storylines of the audio dramas, which are described as existing "outside the main Arrow-verse canon."
Additionally, the plot of the 8-episode Flash audio series has been revealed. In that story, Lex Luthor will change the past to make Flash, Green Arrow, and Supergirl villains.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to super-serve fans of these incredibly popular series with new stories,” said Serial Box co-founder and CEO Molly Barton in a statement. “We look forward to working closely with the Berlanti team to ensure that their creations make a seamless transition to our audio and reading formats.”
No specific release dates for the three audio series have been announced.
