WILSON & LEON's MS. MARVEL VOL. 9 Wins AMERICAN BOOK AWARD

Marvel Comics' Ms. Marvel Vol. 9: Teenage Wasteland has won one of 13 American Book Awards - and is the only comic book to receive the honor this year.

Ms. Marvel Vol. 9 collects 2018's Ms. Marvel #25 through #29 by writer G. Willow Wilson, artist Nico Leon, colorist Ian Herring, letterer Joe Caramagna, and editors Sana Amanat, Jen Grunwald, and Mark Basso.

The awards, given out annually by the Before Columbus Foundation, are to "provide recognition for outstanding literary achievement from the entire spectrum of America’s diverse literary community."
