Marvel Comics has teamed up with ESPN (also a subsidiary of Marvel parent company Disney) to produce three variant cover-style art pieces marking the first game of the 150th season of NCAA college football.

The three covers commemorate the longstanding rivalry between the Miami Hurricanes and the Florida Gators, who will play the first game of the 2019 season on August 24.

The covers, which pay homage to the covers of Incredible Hulk #255, Mighty Thor #112, and Mighty Thor #385 - all of which feature classic clashes between Hulk and Thor - correspond to games played between the Hurricanes and Gators at the 1983 season opener, the 2002 Sugar Bowl, and the upcoming game.
