Angelina Jolie has weighed in on the process required to become a Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero for her role as Thena in the upcoming Eternals, telling USA Today that her training has included "everything from sword fighting to ballet."
"She's a warrior," Jolie explained. "I'm going to have to work very hard to give the Marvel Cinematic Universe the Thena they deserve."
In comic books, Thena is the leader of the Eternals, having assumed the role following the death of her father Zuras - though she's also been challenged at times by her fellow Eternal Ikaris, played by Richard Madden in the film.
