JONATHAN HICKMAN Launching New X-MEN and NEW MUTANTS Titles This Fall

Marvel's X-Men head writer Jonathan Hickman will be launching X-Men and New Mutants ongoing titles as part of a broader "Dawn of X" era. Announced at the Marvel's Next Big Thing panel at Comic-Con International: San Diego, Hickman will be working on X-Men with artist Leinil Francis Yu and New Mutants with co-writer Ed Brisson and artist Rod Reis.

"House of X and Powers of X lay the groundwork for a whole new world of X-Men stories for years to come, and the Dawn of X books are the promise of that new world come to life," said X-Men Senior Editor Jordan D. White. "They are the start of the new era that will change how we think of the X-Men and the kinds of stories we tell with them. It all begins here."

Look for the other Dawn of X titles including X-Force, Excalibur, Marauders and Fallen Angels here.

X-Men is scheduled to launch in October, with New Mutants debuting in November. Here is the solicitation for the first issues:
