Alexa Mansour, Nicolas Cantu, and Hal Cumpston have been cast in starring roles for AMC's as-yet-untitled The Walking Dead spin-off, according to Variety. Photos of the actors were unavailable at presstime.
The series will reportedly focus on "two female protagonists and focus on the first generation to come-of-age in the zombie apocalypse."
Mansour's unnamed character is described as "a good-natured rule breaker who lives for today. She is likable and funny on the outside but sad on the inside." Mansour recently appeared in Bull, How To Get Away with Murder, and Law & Order: SVU, and starred in the horror film Unfiltered: Dark Web.
Cantu is said to be playing a character "small for his age in addition to being friendly and an old soul. He also has a black belt in karate." The actor previously appared on The Good Place and Sydney to the Max.
Cumpston's unnamed character is reportedly "big for his age. He is a shy loner that scares some kids, but he hates the fact that he scares people." The actor previously wrote and starred in the film Bilched.
This The Walking Dead spinoff is announced to debut sometime in 2020 on AMC.
