Warner Media has announced a new streaming service titled HBO Max, which will stream content from across Warner's media platforms - including DC, Cartoon Network, HBO, and more, according to Variety.
The service will also feature notable television shows such as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Friends, which will leave Netflix for HBO Max when the service launches in 2020.
According to the Hollywood trade, HBO Max will launch with 10,000 hours of content, drawing from Warner Bros., New Line, DC Entertainment, CNN, TNT, TBS, truTV, the CW, Turner Classic Movies, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Crunchyroll, Rooster Teeth, and Looney Tunes.
HBO Max will also be the exclusive streaming home of CW's upcoming series Batwoman and Riverdale spin-off Katy Keene. In addition, CW-DC producer Greg Berlanti has signed to produce four young-adult movies for the service. Reese Witherspoon also signed a production deal.
It's unclear what the launch of HBO Max in Spring 2020 means for Warner's other current streaming services such as DC Universe, HBONow, and Boomerang.
