Marvel Entertainment and the Samuel French theatrical company are teaming on a series of three one-act plays (of about 45-50 minutes) developed to be performed by teenagers at schools and community theaters. Marvel Spotlight Plays include the comedies Squirrel Girl Goes to College and Hammered: A Thor & Loki Play and the drama Mirror of Most Value: A Ms. Marvel Play.

"A series of plays developed for teenagers, Marvel Spotlight explores the humans behind your favorite Super Heroes as they balance mastering their newfound powers while facing the real-world challenges of young adults.

Squirrel Girl Goes to College by Karen Zacarías
"Doreen Green secretly possesses the powers and a squirrel… and the powers of a girl! She uses her amazing abilities to fight crime and to be as awesome as possible! You know her as the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl!"
The play features as role for Doctor Doom, described as an "Obsessive, humorless super villain. Any gender."
Hammered: A Thor & Loki Play by Christian Borle
"One is the Norse God of Thunder, Master of the Storm, Lord of the Living Lightning, and heir to the throne of eternal Asgard. The other born of a Frost Giant, but now the Norse God of Mischief. Yet they are brothers, and together they are… The Mighty Thor and Loki."
This play features Odin and Freyja, Sif, Heimdall and the Warriors Three, along with a Thor at the end of his life along with his three granddaughters.
Mirror of Most Value: A Ms. Marvel Play by Masi Asare

Ms. Marvel has roles for Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Black Widow and Doctor Strange.
Licenses to schools and community theaters to stage the plays are $75 for a performance of any of the plays or $125 for a performance for two or more of the plays.
