Men In Black: International raked in $3.1 million at the domestic box office in Thursday night preview showings, according to Deadline.
That reported number is up from the previous film in the franchise Men In Black 3's Thursday night domestic haul of $1.55m in 2012 - though the Hollywood trade notes that International had more Thursday showtimes than its predecessor. According to Deadline, Sony is expecting a $30m domestic opening weekend for MiB: International.
The film didn't top Thursday's biggest domestic earner The Secret Life of Pets 2, which took in $4.4m at the domestic box office.
Men In Black: International is in theaters now.
