Spider-Man: Far From Home is tracking to earn $154 million at the domestic box office in its first week of release, according to Variety.
The six day time frame encompasses the dates from July 2, through Sunday July 7 - a longer period than many estimates account for, thanks to Far From Home's atypical official Tuesday North American release date. This works to ensure the film is open across the United States on Thursday, July 4 - Independence Day, a big moviegoing holiday in the United States.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is the second Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man solo film, and will mark Spider-Man's fifth MCU appearance. Though distributed by Sony Pictures, Far From Home is a Marvel Studios production. It centers on Peter Parker teaming up with Mysterio, who may or may not be from another world, while on a class trip in Europe.
