The Magic: The Gathering franchise returns this August with a four-issue limited series thrusting the Planeswalker known as Chandra through wringer on the chaotic plane of Alara.

Magic: The Gathering - Chandra: Trials of Alara by writer James Asmus and artist Eric Koda finds Chandra protecting a Alaran village with her colleague, Jace Beleren. All seems manageable until a new, as-yet-unrevealed threat arises.

Chandra was shown visiting Alara briefly in 2018's Magic: The Gathering - Chandra limited series by Vita Ayala and Harvey Tolibao.
