Archie Comics' Chief Creative Officer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has signed a five-year overall deal with Warner Bros. Television, according to Deadline. Aguirre-Sacasa has worked with WB TV as the executive producer/showrunner of both CW's Riverdale (for the CW) and The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (for Netflix), and is also heavily involved with CW's Katy Keene.

According to the Hollywood trade, Aguirre-Sacasa's WB TV deal is in the "high eight figures" - which would be more than $10 million.

Aguirre-Sacasa will reportedly continue working on the three aforementioned TV projects, as well as produce new series under his production company Muckle Man.

It is unclear what this will mean for Aguirre-Sacasa's Afterlife With Archie series which, although popular, has been on hiatus for several years.
