Avengers: Endgame co-director Joe Russo is "potentially talking" with actor Priyanka Chopra about a new project. In an interview with the Hindustan Times while on a press tour for Endgame, Russo went just short saying the parties are talking, and was very careful with his choice of words.
"I’d love to work with Priyanka," Russo said. "I’m smiling only because we’re potentially talking to her about something, I’m just not going to say what yet."
Russo doesn't indicate these potential talks involve a Marvel Studios project, as he and his co-director/brother Anthony have not confirmed any new Marvel plans beyond Endgame. The 36-year-old actor does have one Marvel connection, however, having voiced Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel in the 2016 Avengers Academy mobile game.
The Russos have numerous non-Marvel film and TV projects underway elsewhere. They are producing Syfy's Deadly Class adaptation, and working on a film adaptation of the Nico Walker novel Cherry, with Tom Holland already in talks for a lead role.
