The action figure line for the film depicts Billy Batson's fellow foster kids as heroes, a la Geoff Johns' contemporary take on the Marvel Family - right down to Freddy Freeman and Mary Bromfield taking on versions of their classic comic book costumes.

The back of the package cards show the full line-up of Marvel Family heroes and their accompanying "Deadly Enemies of Man". Shown on the package, alongside Billy, are Mary, Freddy, Eugene Choi, Darla Dudley (perhaps named after Uncle Dudley Marvel?), and Pedro Peña.

How exactly this plays into the plot of the film isn't revealed by the action figures - still leaving plenty of room for surprises in the theater.

This has been a public service announcement by your friends at Newsarama.

Shazam! is due out April 5.
