A new Death's Head title was announced by Marvel at their "Women of Marvel" panel this Sunday at C2E2 in Chicago.

The new title will be written by Tini Howard with art from Kei Zama, and features a new design for Death’s Head - and pairs the bounty hunter with Wiccan and Hulkling of the Young Avengers.

"The book starts out when Death's Head realizes he's not as good as he used to be,” said Howard during the announcement. “He's told all the newer models do it better than you, and I was thinking about who would be a good character to pair with him. Wiccan and Hulkling team with him in this."

Originally created by Simon Furman and Geoff Senior for Marvel UK in 1987, the character crossed over early on with that imprint's Transformers and Doctor Who titles before becoming arguably the face of Marvel UK. The character was later revamped by Dan Abnett, Andy Lanning, and Liam Sharp which was billed as "Death's Head II." He was recently seen in various Infinity Wars tie-ins.

Death’s Head #1 is due out in July.
