Updated May 8, 2019: ABC has ordered its Cobie Smulders-led adaptation of Greg Rucka, Matthew Southworth, and Justin Greenwood's Stumptown to series, according to Variety, However, the network will now retitle the show.
Despite losing its name, the now-untitled Stumptown adaptation keeps its premise of Smulders as Dex Parios, a gruff former soldier turned private eye in the city of Portland, who runs afoul of the city's underworld and police alike.
The cast is rounded out by Tantoo Cardinal as Sue Lynn Blackbird, Cole Sibus as Ansel Parios, Adrian Martinez as Tookie, Camryn Manheim as Lieutenant Cosgrove, and Michael Ealy as Det. Miles Hoffman.
Rucka, Southworth, and Greenwood will serve as Executive Producers alongside Jason Richman, Ruben Fleischer, and David Bernad. No premiere date was announced.

Smulders will reportedly play Dex Parios, described by the Hollywood trade as "a strong, assertive, and unapologetically sharp-witted Army veteran working as a P.I. in Portland, OR. With a complicated personal history and only herself to rely on, she solves other people’s messes with a blind eye toward her own."
Smulders is no stranger to comic book roles, having played the character Maria Hill in various appearances throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe, primarily in the Avengers film franchise.
ABC's Stumptown will be written by Jason Richman and Ruben Fleischer. No projected premiere date has been announced.
