Captain Marvel's theatrical release is just around the corner, and star Brie Larson is already thinking about a potential sequel - and about bringing Kamala Khan (a.k.a. Ms. Marvel) in to a future film.
“My dream would be that Ms. Marvel would come into play [in the sequel],” Larson told an audience at an unspecified stop on a press tour of Asia for Captain Marvel. “That would be nice.”
Here’s video of the event, from Brazilian fan Twitter Captain Marvel BR.

Back in May 2018, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed that plans for Kamala Khan were in the works, to follow the release of Captain Marvel.
"Captain Marvel‘s shooting right now with Brie Larson. Ms. Marvel, which is another character in the comic books, the Muslim hero who is inspired by Captain Marvel, is definitely sort of in the works," said Feige at the time. "We have plans for that once we introduce Captain Marvel."
Captain Marvel is due out in theaters March 8.
